ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Duration: 6 years, Degree Awarded: MBBS/MD ,Teaching is available in English, Russian and Ukrainian medium of instruction.
Introduction to the Institute of Medicine (Black Sea National University):
The Institute was opened in 2010 and was training students at departments of Medical Rehabilitation, Medical systems and Devices, Ecology and Environmental Protection.
After the agreement signed of mutual collaboration between Black Sea National University and M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University in 2014, the Institute of Medicine started training students in the course GENERAL MEDICINE under the curriculum and teaching staff of M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University.
Students who apply to Institute of Medicine of Black Sea National University, they will get invitation letter from M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University.
M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University ranks first among Ukrainian medical universities constantly since 2001 till 2015 according to the rating of Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education of Ukraine. The Graduates of Institute of Medicine of Black sea National University will get degree of M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University.
The teaching staff of the faculty consists of 23 professors, 50 associate professors and 38 assistant professors.
Teaching is carried out according to modern standards of higher educational establishments. The main goal of the faculty is to prepare qualified physicians for the world, who perfectly knows their business with high fundamentals and training.
In the under graduate program, during six years of study the students learn different subjects from fundamental subjects disciplines to special medical subjects.
Graduates of the faculty receive the degree of MBBS/MD from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the degree is approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and WHO also known as AVICENNA Directory for Medicine, IMED International Medical Education Directory of FAIMER, UNESCO and AMEE. Students who have completed their medical degrees in BSNU are permitted to apply for International Licensing exams like MCI Screening Test, USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK), as well as other licensing exams taking place throughout the world.
The faculty provides comfortable atmosphere, highly qualified teaching staff, and big library to students for learning.
All graduates are employed after graduation in the field that is not only a confirmation of the high ranking of BSSU, but also high rank of the qualified professors and purposeful work of his students.
Foreigners learn in group of 10-12 students. The second year students attend their clinical studies where they can gain experience in nursing the patients. Clinical subjects are taught beginning from the third year of study. Students can study any topic of interest and to raise their knowledge in the departments. All six years of the program are important and all must be passed successfully before students are permitted to graduate.
FACILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY
Once a student pays his yearly Tuition and hostel fees to the University he/she is automatically entitled to the following facilities of the University:
* Every student will get furnished hostel accommodation single, double or triple type of room) having the following facilities. There are separate rooms for girls.
* Furniture which includes bed, study table, visitors chairs, bookshelf, side table, etc.
* Mattresses, blanket, bed sheets, pillow, curtains, etc.
* Common kitchen with all amenities except utensils
* Common recreation center

* Hot and cold water supply
* Centralized heaters to keep the hostel rooms warm on winter between November and March
* Lift facilities
* Every weekend the students get their bedspreads, blankets and pillow covers changed
* Free books, course materials and printed lecture notes are given for all subjects. The lecture notes can be used for all exam preparation in India including the screening test and PG entrance exams in all states of India.
* Medical facilities including accident insurance (upon payment of Medical insurance)
* Free on call emergency ambulance services (Emergency toll free no: 103)
* Free access to reading rooms, libraries and laboratories
* Free access to all the training and recreational facilities,parks, museum, etc.
* Access to sports facilities (Gym, indoor stadium, Football stadium, swimming pools, etc) and cultural complexes

* Arrangements of excursions and educational tours in Ukraine and all Countries
* 24 hours security in hostels Students are given full visa support to visit India during the summer vacations (July 1st to September 10th)
